Ok let's be real here ... does it really matter that I'm SO far behind with this post? It was supposed to be an anniversary post ... so we'll just pretend k??
We left for Chicago on Friday after work and had a nightmare time traveling. Maybe we were just tired and cranky, but everything went wrong and we finally got to our hotel around midnight! The whole weekend consisted of ... eating, drinking, walking and repeat. :)

We had beautiful perfect weather the whole weekend! It was such a great trip, even if it was really tiring!! Our actual anniversary was Sunday and we went to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs play and went to an amazing dinner :)

The weekend was a perfect way for us to reconnect, and reflect on an amazing first year. I really feel like being married has totally changed us and brought us closer. That sense of commitment, and knowing this is
forever, makes everything feel so solid. We are so blessed and so lucky and I thank god each day, and twice on Sundays, for blessing me with this great love. (Bonus points if you know what that is from!)
We are SO very much looking forward to what year two has in store for us!!!
